Single-Channel Superluminescent Diode Source

Integrated Spectral Bench (ISB1)

The Single-SLED Integrated Spectral Bench (ISB1) product is a compact Superluminescent Diode (SLED) solution that employs DAYY’s high-performance Optical Spectral Engine (OSE1) module. The ISB1 is a broadband light source that operates in the near infrared range. It is a turn-key product that can easily be integrated into existing devices that require light power.

Center wavelength (CW) options: 770nm, 830nm, 850nm, 880nm, 930nm, 970nm, 1050nm, 1300nm, 1340nm, 1390nm, 1430nm, 1480nm, 1550nm, 1615nm, and 1680nm

Integrated Spectral Bench

DAYY’s Multi-SLED® (superluminescent diode) is a compact broadband light source that operates within the near infrared region. The product itself is a fully enclosed Integrated Spectral Bench (ISB2) containing DAYY’s proprietary 32-pin butterfly package that uses a set of superluminescent diodes, one monitor diode for each SLED (enabling better power control and monitoring capabilities), an integrated isolator, a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), and a driver circuit to provide overlapping spectral coverage. This user-controlled box enables complete control of up to six light sources enclosed.

The ISB2 includes various spectral coverages with SLED’s ranging from 770nm to 1680nm, with up to 40mW of optical power.

Optical Spectral Engine

DAYY’s Multi SLED® (superluminescent diode) OSE2 is a compact broadband light source that operates in the near infrared region. The product itself is a 32 pin
butterfly package that uses a set of superluminescent diodes, one monitor diode for each SLED (enabling better power control and monitoring capabilities), a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), an integrated isolator, and a spectral stitching design to provide overlapping spectral coverage. The Multi-SLED can be configured with up to six light sources.
The OSE2 includes various spectral coverages with SLED’s ranging from 770nm to 1680nm, with up to 40mW of optical power.

Amplifies spontaneous emission (ASE) source

Integrated Spectral Bench (ISB4)

The amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) Integrated Spectral Bench (ISB4) product is a compact light source solution that employs DAYY’s high-performance Optical Spectral Engine (OSE4) module and amplifier module. The ISB4 is a broadband light source that operates in the near-infrared range. It is a turn-key product that can easily be integrated into existing devices that require higher light power.

This unit is ideal for users requiring higher optical ASE power then what a superluminescent diode (SLED) can provide.

Broadband Tunable External Cavity Laser

DAYY’s Broadband Tunable External Cavity Laser (ECL) is an ultrawide tunable laser that can be tuned across a typical range of 80nm, and extended models can be tuned across a range up to 500nm. Laser tuning is done with an independent electric signal, replacing the classical method of thermal tuning or mechanical tuning, which provides only a few nanometres of tuning range or moving parts.
The Broadband Tunable External Cavity Laser is designed for scalability, utilizing one gain chip for standard models with extended models can use multiple gain chips for wider tuning range capability. The laser has the unique ability to output up to 4 simultaneous wavelengths.
