EPIGAP OSA Photonics' Through-Hole Technology (THT) LEDs are robust, durable light sources built for reliable, simple mounting. The range covers UV THT (225-400 nm), VIS THT (400-700 nm), and IR THT (700-2300 nm, NIR/SWIR), alongside Detector THTs spanning 250-2300 nm.

THT LEDs are commonly supplied in 5 mm packages with flat or lensed optics, viewing angles as narrow as 16-20 degrees, and drive currents from 50 mA up to 100 mA depending on the device. Typical applications include industrial equipment, gas sensing, proximity sensing, and indicator lights.
